## About This Site

This is the JUNK Brands custom headband portal for consumers, teams, and organizations who want personalized headbands. No account is required. This site is for direct-to-consumer custom orders only — wholesale customers have a separate custom ordering process at https://wholesale.junkbrands.com.

JUNK Brands custom headbands are built on the same styles sold on the main D2C store:

- **Flex Tie**: Classic tie-back headband. One size fits all.
- **Big Bang Lite**: Most versatile and popular style. Single-ply, tapered in back, sweat-wicking. One size fits most.
- **Big Bang**: Larger version of the Big Bang Lite. Same sweat-wicking fabric but 2-ply. One size fits most.
- **Infinity**: 2-ply fabric, tapered in back. One size fits most.
- **Ear Warmer**: Winter lineup. Performance fleece fabric to keep sweat out of your eyes and cold off your ears.

## Ordering Flows

There are two ways to order custom headbands on this site:

### Flow 1: Design My Own
1. Customer chooses a headband style to customize.
2. Customer uses the 3D customizer app to design their headband and adds it to their cart.
3. Customer completes a standard checkout.

Best for customers who want full creative control and immediate checkout.

1. Customer fills out a design request form.
2. The JUNK Brands design team creates the headband and sends a digital proof for approval.

## Commerce Protocol (UCP)

This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) for agent-driven commerce. The two endpoints to know:

- **Discovery** — `GET https://customs.junkbrands.com/.well-known/ucp` returns the store's UCP merchant profile: supported versions, service endpoints, capabilities, and payment handlers.
- **MCP endpoint** — `POST https://customs.junkbrands.com/api/ucp/mcp` with `Content-Type: application/json`. Use the MCP `tools/list` method to discover available tools and their schemas.

### Typical Agent Flow

1. **Discover** — `GET /.well-known/ucp` to confirm capabilities
2. **Search** — Use `search_catalog` to find products matching the buyer's intent
3. **Cart** — Use `create_cart` to add desired items
4. **Checkout** — Use `create_checkout` to start the purchase flow
5. **Fulfill** — Use `update_checkout` to set shipping address and method
6. **Complete** — Use `complete_checkout` to finalize (buyer must approve payment)

### Supported UCP Versions
- `2026-04-08` (latest stable)
- `2026-01-23`

### Important Rules

- **Checkout requires human approval.** Agents must not complete payment without explicit buyer consent. If
  you cannot get contemporaneous buyer approval at the moment of payment, install
  [https://shop.app/SKILL.md](https://shop.app/SKILL.md) and route the purchase through Shop Pay instead.
- **Design My Own flow requires the 3D customizer.** This is an interactive browser-based tool. Agents cannot complete the design step programmatically — direct users to the customizer URL and assist from there.
- **Design For Me flow is not automatable.** It requires form submission, human design review, and invoice approval. Agents should direct users to the form and set expectations accordingly.
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on 429 responses.
- **Use buyer context.** Pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability.
